YEP_BXL Discussed the EU 2050 Decarbonisation Vision

Yesterday marked another interesting Young Energy Professionals meeting - this time with Philipp Offenberg from the European Political Strategy Centre (EPSC) as the speaking guest. the YEPs and Philipp discussed the upcoming EU 2050 Decarbonisation Strategy. The European Commission is going to publish its long-term decarbonisation vision in November and it will envisage how should the European society and economy change in order to achieve its decarbonisation goals.

The event took place exactly one week after the huge stakeholders event organized by the Commission and on a day of publishing a public consultation on a long-term vision for a modern European economy for all Europeans and the opportunities and challenges that a long-term decarbonisation implies.
